Locanda Pitti - Firenze

Locanda Pitti is placed at the first floor of a beautiful building of the 19th century in the heart of the old Florence. We are just 10 minutes walking from Santa Maria Novella train station and a few steps from the Accademia Gallery, San Marco Museum, San Lorenzo Market (a real jewel of architecture, famous all over the world for its florentine handcrafts) and from the Fortezza da Basso (where the main shows and expositions of the city take place). Also the Dome, the Uffizi Gallery and the Old Bridge are within walking distance.


The friendly staff, Isabella and Marco, will be happy to provide any information you may need about Florence, the restaurants and the shops, and the surrounding areas. Free reservation for museum tickets, on demand. English, Spanish and French spoken.


Locanda Pitti has got bright and silent rooms, all heated in winter and air-conditioned in summer. All the rooms are gifted with private bathroom with shower, linen and towels and a kettle to prepare self-service hot coffee and tea, for free. Hairdryers available on request.


There is no curfew as we will give you the keys to the building so that you may come and go as you like.


For parking there is a garage in our street where our guests have special prices.

General conditions:

Prices could depend on the length of your stay. The charge for electricity, gas, water, taxes and heating are included.

Deposit:

No advance payment is demanded in case of reservation with credit card. Otherwise it is required a prepayment of 30% of the total amount by bank transfer or postal money order.

Arrival and departure time:

Rooms available after 12.30.
Check in until 11.30 pm.
Check out time before 11:00 am.

By car:

Coming from the north, from Pisa and from highways A1 Bologna-Milano and A11 Lucca-Genova, exit at Firenze Nord and follow directions for the Center and then for Stazione - Fortezza da Basso. After Fortezza da Basso take Viale Spartaco Lavagnini and turn right at the first traffic lights into Via Santa Caterina d'Alessandria and then turn left into the first street, Via delle Ruote. Go straight on until Via Santa Reparata, turn right, then turn right again into Via Ventisette Aprile. Via San Zanobi is the first street on the right. You'll find us at the number 43 black (pay attention to it, not red!).

Coming from the south, from Siena (SS22) or from highway A1 Roma-Napoli, exit at Firenze Sud and follow directions for the Center, then for Stazione - Fortezza da Basso. When you reach Piazza della Libertà turn left at the first traffic lights (as if you were turning around the square) and after the second traffic lights take Viale Lorenzo il Magnifico , a little to the right. Then go straight on until you reach the first traffic lights, turn left (Via Poliziano) and at the next traffic lights cross the street and keep right and take Via Santa Caterina d'Alessandria. Then turn left into Via delle Ruote. Go straight on until Via Santa Reparata, turn right, then turn right again into Via Ventisette Aprile. Via San Zanobi is the first street on the right. You'll find us at the number 43 black (pay attention to it, not red!).
From the A. Vespucci airport:

Take the "Voliainbus" shuttle service (one every 30 mins.) to the SMN train station. Buy your ticket on board (approx. journey time of 20 mins.) then proceed as above from the train station.
From the SMN train station:

On foot: walk along Via Nazionale until Piazza Indipendenza, then turn right into Via XXVII Aprile until you reach Via San Zanobi (the first street on your left). You'll find us at number 43 black (not red!).

On bus: take Ataf No.31 or No.32 (Antella) or No. 7 (Fiesole) or 25A (Pian di S.Bartolo) or No.10 and get off at the Via XXVII Aprile stop (a 5 minute bus ride).
